Political division isn’t staying in Washington. It’s entering our minds, following us into our homes, sitting at our family tables and finding its way into our churches. In the Season 1 finale of Unshaken Voices, I speak openly about how constant anger, arguing, and hostility can affect our mental and emotional stability. As someone managing Bipolar I disorder, protecting my peace is part of protecting my life. This isn’t a party-political episode. It’s a conversation about disagreeing without hatred, holding leaders accountable without dehumanizing them, establishing healthy boundaries, and using our voices with wisdom and purpose. I also share what happened after I sent Unshaken to the White House and why mental-health advocacy should never become buried beneath political division. Unity isn’t silence. Understanding isn’t the same as agreeing. Protecting your peace doesn’t mean surrendering your voice. I close this season with a prayer for our leaders, families, churches, and anyone whose mind feels overwhelmed by the noise around us. The Season 1 finale of Unshaken Voices, Unity Without Silence, is now available. Protect your peace. Use your voice with purpose. Always remain unshaken. www.GlorifiedWriting.com #UnshakenVoices #UnityWithoutSilence #ProtectYourPeace #MentalHealthMatters #MentalHealthAdvocacy #BipolarAwareness #FaithAndMentalHealth #HealthyBoundaries #ChooseConnection #SeasonFinale

Let’s End Political Division

Political division is no longer staying in Washington, on television, or on social media. It is following us home, sitting at our holiday tables, straining friendships and families, and even finding its way into our churches. For me, this is more than an uncomfortable debate. The constant arguing, anger, and hostility can create very real stress and anxiety. As someone who manages Bipolar I disorder, protecting my mental stability is part of protecting my life. This is not about choosing a political side. It is about recognizing when the noise is costing us our peace. We can care deeply without allowing division to consume us. We can set boundaries without becoming indifferent, and we can disagree without losing compassion for one another. Has political division affected your mental health, your relationships, or the peace inside your home? 🎙️ Unshaken Voices #UnshakenVoices #mentalhealthmatters #BipolarAwareness #ProtectYourPeace #unityoverdivision #choosecompassion

Protecting your peace does not mean abandoning your voice. Sometimes wisdom looks like limiting how often you consume the news, keeping political debates away from the dinner table, or leaving a comment section that is taking more from you than you could ever give. And when someone you care about sees an issue differently, try asking one sincere question instead of beginning another debate. Understanding is not the same as agreeing. It can be the beginning of connection. Coming soon on Unshaken Voices: Unity Without Silence. Protect your peace. Use your voice with purpose. Mental Illness Isn’t Political

Mental illness does not ask how you voted. Psychosis does not check your voter registration, and a stroke does not ask which candidate you support. When a family is watching someone they love lose touch with reality, they do not need another political argument. They need care, treatment, support, information and hope. I would have sent Unshaken to whoever was serving in the White House because mental illness is not Republican or Democratic. Advocacy should never become buried beneath political division. Happy Birthday, Kayden! 🎉 This weekend feels like the perfect time to share your story with the world. Some stories remind us that our greatest challenges don't define us. They shape us. In this episode of Unshaken Voices, Kayden O'Connor shares his journey through childhood grief, bullying, living as a neurodivergent young adult with autism and ADHD, discovering confidence through theater, leaning on faith, and learning to embrace who he was created to be. His message is simple, yet incredibly powerful: "Don't be afraid to be unapologetically yourself." On his birthday weekend, we're honored to celebrate not only another year of life, but the courage it takes to share a story that has the power to encourage others who may be struggling to find where they belong. If this conversation encourages you, please like, subscribe, leave a review, and share it with someone who needs the reminder that different does not mean less. 🎧 Available now on Apple Podcasts or YouTube 🌐 Visit GlorifiedWriting.com to find out more about Denise Pimentel the creator and host of Unshaken Voices and her mission to advocate for others. #UnshakenVoices #KaydenOConnor #AutismAcceptance #ADHDAwareness #Neurodivergent #MentalHealthMatters #FaithAndHope #Podcast #DifferentNotLess #BeYourself #GriefJourney #Theater #Autism #ADHD #MentalHealthAdvocacy

For Kayden O’Connor, receiving an ADHD diagnosis and learning he is on the autism spectrum felt like a lightbulb turning on. After years of struggling with depression, focus, and wondering why things felt so difficult, he finally had words for what he was experiencing as a neurodivergent person. Not “crazy.” Not broken. Not alone. Just finally understood. In this clip from Unshaken Voices, Kayden opens up about ADHD, autism, self-understanding, and the relief that can come when you finally have answers. #UnshakenVoices #neurodiversity #AutismAwareness #ADHDAwareness #FaithAndPurpose #MentalHealthAwareness #StudentVoices #TheaterArts #Authenticity #DifferentDoesNotMeanLess #Purpose #Belonging
